What you can expect:

We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Vice President of Marketing to join our executive team. With extensive experience in both B2C and B2B marketing, the ideal candidate will have a strong focus on digital channels, brand strategy, and demand generation to support Amilia’s growth objectives and Marketplace goals. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Marketing will provide strong leadership, strategic direction, and deep expertise in growth marketing, brand development, and demand generation to propel the company forward.


This role is critical to driving the strategic vision and growth of our company by supporting our B2B2C go-to-market approach and expanding our reach in the digital marketplace. The VP of Marketing will lead a talented team of marketing professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize our marketing initiatives, strengthen our brand, and drive measurable results.

You will be responsible for:

1. Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and coaching sessions to support the personal and professional growth of your team members.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to upskill the team.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding efforts to ensure the team has the right resources to achieve its goals.


2. Strategic Marketing Direction

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Define and focus on key market segments: SMB, Parks & Recreation, and Non-Profit, ensuring targeted strategies and messaging for each.
  • Own the marketing roadmap and define clear objectives, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Partner with the Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to create targeted campaigns that generate and advance the sales pipeline.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making and continuously analyze marketing performance to optimize strategies.


3. Performance Marketing and Demand Generation

  • Oversee the development and execution of demand generation programs, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and driving qualified leads.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Demand Generation to enhance multi-channel marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, email campaigns, paid search, and more.
  • Monitor key success metrics, track ROI, and adjust tactics as needed to maximize campaign performance.


4. Brand Strategy and Market Positioning

  • Own and evolve Amilia’s brand positioning, messaging, and identity to resonate with our target audiences.
  • Partner with the Director of Brand and Communication to lead PR, content creation, social media strategies, and external communications.
  • Increase brand awareness through events, partnerships, and media relations.
  • Support new product launches and define go-to-market strategies.


Job requirements

What we want from you:

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B2C marketing, with at least 3 years in an executive role (VP or higher).
  • Proven success in leading a high-growth marketing team, within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong background in developing and executing data-driven marketing strategies that have led to significant business growth.
  • Experience managing demand generation, brand strategy, digital marketing, and marketing operations.
  • Proven track record in owning and optimizing a marketing budget to achieve KPIs and business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Bilingualism is a strong asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
