Job description
Amilia is transforming the recreation and activities market with its innovative, purpose-built SaaS platform. Designed for municipalities, community centers, nonprofits, businesses, and recreation organizations, Amilia SmartRec™ streamlines operations, optimizes facility management, and simplifies program and membership management.
Since 2009, Amilia has been on a mission to revolutionize how communities connect and participate in activities. By combining cutting-edge technology with deep industry expertise, the software empowers organizations to manage registrations, memberships, facilities, and finances more efficiently while enhancing community engagement.
Over 1,500 organizations across 6,600 locations in North America rely on Amilia to serve 4.5 million participants and process $750M in transactions annually.
Caring is at the core of Amilia’s culture: for customers, tailored products, and colleagues alike. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation, this mindset shapes everything we do.
What to expect:
At Amilia, sales isn’t just about closing deals—it’s about building lasting relationships with organizations that make a difference in their communities. Our clients don’t just choose our technology; they choose the people, mindset, and approach behind it. That’s why the Outbound Account Executive role is so critical to our mission. If you’re energized by creating opportunity where none exists and want to see the direct impact of your work, this role is for you.
As we expand our presence across U.S. small-to-mid-sized businesses, we’re looking for a true hunter to own the full outbound sales cycle—from prospecting and personalized outreach to closing new business. In this 100% outbound role, success depends on proactive pipeline generation, disciplined follow-through, and turning awareness into adoption. No inbound leads are routed to this role—you create and convert every opportunity through your own effort.
You’ll be responsible for:
Pipeline Generation
Own 100% of your pipeline: cold calling, tailored email outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and networking.
Focus prospecting in priority Midwest states (IL, OH, MI, WI, IN, MO, MN) and other high-potential regions.
Meet/exceed weekly outreach KPIs (calls, sequences, social touches) and monthly SQL targets.
Craft relevance-driven messaging that resonates with target personas and market pain points.
Represent Amilia at targeted U.S. conferences and local events to build outbound momentum.
Close new business
Run full sales cycles for self-sourced opportunities: discovery, demo, proposal, and negotiation.
Achieve and exceed new-logo ARR targets.
Deliver accurate pipeline forecasts; maintain strong CRM discipline (Salesforce or equivalent).
Ensure smooth hand-off to post-sale teams for seamless client onboarding.
Build trust and credibility with prospects through consultative, value-led engagement.
Contribute to refining outbound sales processes, messaging, and objection-handling resources.
Job requirements
What we want from you:
3+ years of pure-hunting SaaS or B2B sales with a track record of exceeding self-generated quotas.
Strong verbal/written communicator with clear, concise, and value-first messaging.
CRM proficiency (Salesforce or equivalent) with disciplined pipeline management.
Resilient, coachable, and metrics-driven—comfortable with high-volume outbound activity.
Willing and able to travel to prospects and industry events in target regions.
Experience selling to recreation, nonprofit, or camp organizations.
Familiarity with outbound sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger).
Bilingual (English/French or English/Spanish) a plus.
What you’ll get from us:
A competitive and progressive salary;
A group RRSP employer contribution up to 5%;
A group insurance for you and your family as well as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and telemedicine;
A $750 wellness allowance per year;
The possibility of working in the office or at home
A strong work-life balance: flexible hours, 4 weeks' vacation and 8 sick days yearly, and year-round mini-Fridays;
Skill development opportunities through engaging workshops, communities of practice, trainings, access to Udemy and opportunities to attend conferences;
Companywide and team bonding activities to connect with your peers throughout the year and weekly social activities to connect with your peers;
Weekly Bootcamp and Pilates classes for Amilians;
25% discount on annual membership for STM and EXO;
In-office snacks, including fresh fruit baskets, coffee, beverages, and free drinks.
