What you can expect:
As a Data Solutions Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of our client onboarding experience. You’ll lead the charge in migrating complex datasets from legacy systems to SmartRec, while also designing custom data solutions that help our clients make smarter decisions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a trusted advisor, solving real-world data challenges with creativity and precision.

You will be responsible for:
Data Migration & Onboarding
Scope and propose migration strategies during the sales cycle
Lead end-to-end data migration efforts (users, activities, payments)
Document and refine repeatable migration processes
Partner with Implementation Consultants to ensure smooth transitions
Customer-Centric Data Solutions
Solve data-related business challenges with tailored solutions
Build custom reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, API connectivity, automation tools
Support integrations with third-party applications
Advise clients on SmartRec’s data structures and best practices
Process Improvement & Collaboration
Identify opportunities to improve and scale migration workflows
Maintain internal knowledge bases and integration guides
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to enhance platform features
Contribute to new service offerings that meet evolving client needs
Job requirements
What we want from you:
Proven experience in data migration and ETL methodologies
Experience in SaaS, accounting data migration, or payment systems is a significant asset
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization tools
Experience with APIs, middleware, and custom integrations
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in English—able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Bilingual is preferred (English & French)
